The grounds were originally landscaped by Humphry Repton. The Woodland Nature Trial takes you through the garden woods snowdrops and bluebells abound depending on the season.
Along the circular trail there are view points of Royston Hills and Cardington Hangars (home of the famous R100 and R101 airships).
Volunteers have already started clearance work on the Coppice wood and some temporary fencing has been erected to protect new growth from Munjac deer. The circular woodland walk brings you to the Garden Rooms Cafe.
The grounds are open daily from 10am to 4pm with free admission.
