We had a very full lively house on New Year's Eve this year. We had been booked full for some month's, for our ever popular Murder Mystery evening, for this year hosted by Murder Sleuths. They did a wonderful job, greeting our guests and putting them at their ease over their complimentary sparkling drink and canapes, before they sat down to a six course meal. That seemed to be the quiet bit, after that our guests were totally engaged (while eating) watching constant intriguing plot lines, working out clues and being totally shocked by developments. Later on in the tale their were girl fights, and the very loud explosion of a (replica) firearm.
Murder Sleuths made sure to warn guest about this at the beginning of the evening, so that they did not become uncomfortable.
The evening finished with the murderer being unmasked and Murder Sleuths leading all in Alud Lang Syne before everybody enjoyed the fireworks. Champagne did flow and voices were raised.
